Happy Thanksgiving!!

I know I already sent one this morning, but that was from last week and I didn't have time to send it.  Man it has been a good week. My companion and I have had a lot of fun together. After I warmed up, things have been great. We love to listen to Christmas music and dance around our kitchen while we cook. My comp like tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini so we've been having those a lot. Sister Barden is hilarious so we laugh a lot. I think she's exactly what I need. She's a great example of obedience to me. She pushes me out of my comfort zone, but she always shows me compassion which I need.  I've been getting more used to the German life. It almost feels normal to be living here. I'm still amazed by how beautiful everything is. We went to visit this one lady in our ward and she lives in a town maybe 20- 30 minutes from us by train. But her town was so pretty. Everything was still green and there was an old castle on the hill. Then next to her house there was a ...

Hallo Deutschland

Hello family! I miss you all! My last week at the mtc was pretty sad. I didn't want to leave. The 2 German districts became pretty close. And for mom wondering about the picture. The last girl is from Germany and then the other 2 were in the other German district. The boy closest to President Hammon was in the other German district as well. The boy next to him is from Norway and the last one did at home mtc learning Persian. But I'm going to miss my district very much. I'm hoping we stay in contact with one another. My teachers were also hard to leave. Brother Schild wrote us all letters, so that was really special. I really liked him, we had a good bond. Um I actually had to do a musical number in sacrament meeting before we left. I did a duet with elder wunderlich in my district to the song love is spoken here in German. I was pretty nervous but people said it sounded good. The flights were good, we didn't really sleep very much except for the last flight. We all tr...

Your Missionary Has Arrived in Frankfort!

KIRCHE  JESU CHRISTI DER HEILIGEN  DER LETZTEN TAGE       17 Nov 2021     We are happy to report that  Sister   Nielsen   arrived safely in the Germany Frankfurt Mission. Sister Hammon and I met all the new missionaries at the Frankfurt airport, and your  daughter   looked good and was happy to be here. We are always grateful to have new missionaries come into the field as they bring a sense of excitement and a spirit of great faith. It inspires and energizes the whole mission. After their arrival in Frankfurt, the missionaries were transported to the Frankfurt Stake Center, where they completed paperwork so they could register and obtain their residency permits to stay in Germany. They also received their debit cards. This allows them to access their missionary support funds. They also learned about mission transportation and apartments. Later, Sister Hammon and I both spent some time getting acquain...
