Hallo Zusammen! Karim ist einfach der Beste! We met with him this past Friday with his friend Hanif. He's been telling everyone about the gospel, he's such a great missionary it's incredible. But Hanif is super nice. Karim told him a lot about the church and he was interested. One of the first things he asked us is if he could have a book of Mormon. I'm really excited about being able to teach him more and see him progress. All I know is that God loves his Persians!  Everything went well with Karim's baptism. Thank you so much for your prayers! He was so happy and kept mentioning that he felt so relaxed afterwards. A couple days later he told us how energized he felt. He just feels like a new person with a whole new outlook on life. His coworkers have been able to see this change too. He's just so amazing and I have learned so much from him in the short 7 weeks that we've met with him. Also something that's special is Hanif came to the baptism too!! Al...

Moin moin!!  Man, this week has been a whirl wind! 7 people got baptized this past week in our mission! For those of you who don't know, that's crazy for Germany!! One of them was Maggy! I was so excited for her and she also too. She gave her testimony the next day in church and it was so sweet. I had the opportunity to sing during her baptism as well. Someone I taught in Nürnberg was also one of the seven and I'm so happy for him. Miracles happen and I'm so blessed that I've been able to see the change in people as they embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm excited to see Karim also receive the blessings of baptism this Sunday. Satan has been trying to work on him so please keep praying for him!  We taught Camillo this week and he brought his wife! They both grew up catholic and were really interested in the temple and eternal marriage. The wife was asking questions and camillo would teach her things that we already taught him. It was so cool and it was pro...

I'm sorry I don't have a ton of time but this is what I've done and learned from this week :) We've been really focusing on Karim. His baptism is in a week and we're just trying to crank out the remaining lessons and also make sure that he understands. He's where most of our thoughts and energy has gone this week. He shared his testimony with us that he knows God is with him and that knows the book of Mormon is true. As sisters it's always a little nerve wracking to teach a guy because you want to make sure that they're interested in the church and not you. With Karim's testimony and his deep desire to be baptized I'm pretty positive he's in it for the right reasons. He also has been telling everyone he can about the gospel so I think that's a plus :) We had 3 friends at church this past Sunday which was amazing. Henry came who is someone we've been teaching. He's amazing and is really intrigued about the gospel. The hard part i...

July 4th and 9 months!!

Hallo, diese Woche war sehr komisch und dies ist warum: This week felt so long and that's because so much happened this week!! We had the music district come to Köln and it was so fun. They are all so Talented and I was blown away. What the music district basically is, is about 5-6 missionaries who travel around the mission and perform music. The missionaries in the area they travel to use it as a street display and try and contact people. The people all loved the music and we talked to some great people. It also really fun to be around all the other missionaries. Maggy gave us all the best news ever after church that she wants to be baptized!! She's the elder's friend who started investigating the church after she ran into anti. She's so ready and has been for a month or so but she wanted to finish the whole book of Mormon before she was baptized. That would be about another 4 months! She loves the church and I'm so glad that She's decided to be baptized!! La...
