1 year in Germany!!

I can't believe I have been in Germany for a whole year! I have absolutely loved my time here and I have learned so much. Germany is the best and the people are so kind under their hard outer covering. This week has been absolutely wild. We started it off with a SAP tausch in Frankfurt. We were busy running around with 3 appointments, but I learned a lot about applying the Book of Mormon and the gospel to each individual person. It is so funny how people are so different, Sister Ferguson gave me the rundown of surfing and I told her all I knew about hunting. We ended the tausch teaching a family from Ghana which I absolutely loved. There is just something special about the African people. They melt my heart every time and they had the cutest kids. On Sunday we were completely booked. Both wards want us to join their choirs since Sister Cooley has such a beautiful voice haha. Week of blessings

I'll be honest, this week was pretty slow. Everyone in my district got hit hard with a cold. We've all been dead and are trying to recover. We were both pretty upset when she got sick because we were so ready for this week. We made plans about Street contacting, friends, and helping the sisters and then when got his by a truck and the motivation went out the window for a bit haha.  But after we came out of the dungeon we saw a ton of miracles. We had a lesson  with a less active who we've been meeting with for a while. We've always wanted her to pray bur she's alwa...

Happy Halloween everyone!!  I'm pretty sure my comp is convinced that I'm a little kid because I love Halloween. I've been wanting to watch hocus pocus all week so I hope you watched it for me! Halloween in Germany is very different. It's not really celebrated at all, but the little kids do go trick or treating. I'm not sure how it all works but I know they have to ring the doorbells of apartment buildings. Then they ask for something sweet or sour. Kinda sweet but I'm glad to be back for next Halloween! The applications are officially finished so I can start focusing on hitting the streets hard again! On a train this week, I sat next to a girl from Africa. She was super sweet and we had a really nice conversation. I absolutely love the people from Africa and I think they love whenever I tell them that it's my biggest wish to visit their country one day. But we were able to talk about God and the different Christian churches around the world. I was able to...
