Blissful days

Oh meine gute, so much has happened since I last sent an email! Aaron got baptized which was super exciting! We cranked out all of the lessons in a manner of 2 appointments. It was insane, but we did it. He is such a cute boy and it so smart. At first we tried to teach him and he would say that he already knew the things we were telling him. So after that we had him teach us and oh man is this kid smart. He knows so much about the gospel and his baptism was so special.  Yina and iker from friedrichsdorf also got baptized and I was able to watch the baptism over zoom. Asier got to baptize them and it was just so special. Yina has been waiting since October to be baptized and I'm so glad it worked out. She hasn't moved out yet, but one of my mission president's counselors met with her and found her to be worthy. President and his counselor both had the feeling that she was ready to be baptized even though the living situation hadn't changed. I'm so glad that they'...

This week has been so fun! After pday last week we drove with the Bonn Sisters to Duisburg in order to spend the night with the STL'S because the next day we had zoko!! I love zoko and it was so good to see everyone and some of my old comps. All of the themas were super good and I learned a lot from each. It was a great time to look back on my mission and see how much I have learned and grown. I can tell that my desires have changed for the better and doing things everyday that would've caused me to hide under the bed before. It's crazy how much the mission can change someone. It has changed me. I was also able to see Elder Andreasen and Sister Moon!! It's so crazy to think that we would all reunite in Germany of all places.  The next day we tried to deliver a book of Mormon to someone who ordered it through FindeChristus. The only problem is that we couldn't find his address to save our lives. We looked like chickens with our heads cut off walking up and down the...

Member work!!

Hey ya'll! We have worked a ton with the members with this past week. The members here are so nice and just amazing! There's one family from Uganda who's inactive because the mom works the evening shift and can't make it to church to take the kids. The husband also isn't a member, he's atheist. So we try to work a lot with their family. We made homemade sushi with them and lowkey it was pretty good. I'm usually picky about my sushi but it wasn't bad. At the end, the father asked if we could say a prayer and told us that when we come back he wants us to stay longer. That's a success in my book if I've ever seen one! There's a ward temple trip coming up and we're trying to get a lot of members, especially the new members to go. We know it would be a great opportunity for them. One new member that we work a lot with is having his temple interview soon and we're so excited to go with his and experience the joy of temple work with him. O...
