This week has been so fun! After pday last week we drove with the Bonn Sisters to Duisburg in order to spend the night with the STL'S because the next day we had zoko!! I love zoko and it was so good to see everyone and some of my old comps. All of the themas were super good and I learned a lot from each. It was a great time to look back on my mission and see how much I have learned and grown. I can tell that my desires have changed for the better and doing things everyday that would've caused me to hide under the bed before. It's crazy how much the mission can change someone. It has changed me. I was also able to see Elder Andreasen and Sister Moon!! It's so crazy to think that we would all reunite in Germany of all places.

The next day we tried to deliver a book of Mormon to someone who ordered it through FindeChristus. The only problem is that we couldn't find his address to save our lives. We looked like chickens with our heads cut off walking up and down the street trying to find the number. We used it as a good dooring activity to ask around and see if anyone else knew, but to no avail. He texted FindeChristus and asked why he hadn't received his book yet. We explained the situation and are hoping that we can actually meet up with him real soon. We continued to go dooring after that and it was absolutely terrifying. In my opinion having someone kick you out of the apartment building and tell you to never come back is way scarier in German than in English. But we kept going and didn't let Satan get the best of us.
I have a testimony that including members at lessons helps so much!! It keeps the lesson focused and the members always add such a special spirit. We had 2 appointments this past week both with a member present and they were both so awesome. During our appointment with Dagmar and Roland, the member we had with us, talked almost the whole time about the book of Mormon and why it's important to our everyday life. He taught our friend how to pray and find answers to his prayers. I think it was exactly what Roland needed in order to get the ball rolling and really start thinking deeply about the book of Mormon.
The next one was a lesson with our friend Nick. We've been trying to find a friend for him in the ward for a long time. There's a new family from Brazil that just moved into the branch and the son in law is from Utah. We had a lesson with them both and it was so good!! We talked about baptism and the son in law was able to bear his testimony of baptism and how much the holy ghost has been a blessing in his life. They also became really good friends and will now be keeping each other accountable on the commitments that we gave them. It was such a good lesson! The members are the best and improve the work so much!!
I love being a missionary and the more time I spend out here the more I understand that the work doesn't end when I go home. There's so much work to do! The gospel is too good not to share it with everyone!! I love you all and have a great week!!
