Uhh I think we're in the Netherlands

 Moin from here up north!

Alright folks I hope you're buckled up because this is going to be a good email. Lots of events happened this week. It started out with lots of running to catch our trains. Also me biffing it on our morning run. It was hilarious I hope you all know.
We had a lot of successful contacting on the Bahns this week. 2 girls already had heard of the book of Mormon. One actually pulled it straight out of her bag, it was crazy. She loves Joseph Smith and will be coming to church! The other had discussions and read the book of Mormon with her cousin. Both crazy encounters! We contacted one guy, Karim, and had a lesson with him later that week. He used to be Muslim and a Jehovah's witness but none of the churches truly struck him. He prayed and asked God which way he should go and then the next day we talk to him. He's so open to the Book of Mormon and told us he wants to be baptized once he's finished with it! It was such a miracle and a Pick me up after a hard transfer. I know that God rewards us for our efforts.
We've met with a couple less active members this week. One family is from Nigeria. The wife was really cold to us at first but once I got her to talk about Nigeria she lightened up. For those of you who know me, my dream mission was to go to Africa. I've loved being able to serve and Germany and still live that dream. There are tons of people here who migrate from Africa. It's also a very easy in to get them to talk when I'm contacting haha.
Today for pday we went on a hike to the borders of the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. There's a monument where all 3 of the borders meet. It was a super pretty hike. Half of the hike actually went a little bit through the Netherlands. Don't worry pres knows so it's okay.... But don't worry we stayed in the pros monkey suit the whole time. That's something I don't really recommend doing, but we didn't have a lot of time to change behind some bushes.
I almost became the mother of 3 kids yesterday. We were on the train and I was determined to talk to people since the morning wasn't that great in regards to talking to people. I sit down next to this guy with 3 kids. Immediately the kids come over and are playing with my bracelets. They were honestly so adorable, I didn't even mind. I began talking with the dad and he told me about how the mom left 3 years ago and that he's raised the kids on his own. He asked me if I was married and if I wanted to come over later for coffee. Don't worry we quickly turned it back over to Christ and our purpose here as missionaries.
As for the other random things this week. I've been told many times that I look Ukrainian. Whenever I try to contact anyone they always ask if I'm from Ukraine. It's also been getting pretty hot here. But surprisingly enough I can't feel the humidity. I would think from coming from Nevada that it would be a night and day difference but I guess not. Plus whenever I say I'm from Nevada everyone thinks I'm used to 90° weather which is true in the summer. That's about as hot as it gets here in Germany which I was surprised I'll be honest.
Happy Father's Day this Sunday and I hope ya'll are enjoying your summer break! Ich hab euch alle so viel lieb!!
