Hallo Alle! This week has felt very long haha. A lot of our appointments fell through (7 to be exact) and the days felt like molasses, but it's okay because we finally made it another week! Thankfully we've also had some good experiences this week.

We received a book of Mormon referral. Which means that someone ordered a free book of Mormon on FindeChristus and we went and delivered it. In my past experiences with it, usually the person isn't home or they don't want the book anymore or they take it and don't let us explain anything about it. This time Was different. A man came to the door and we were able to give him the book, ask how he found the Website, and explained a little bit about it. His wife invited us inside and we were able to meet their 3 little boys. We explained more about the book and ended up giving the whole 1st lesson!! The husband was really interested and has looked up a lot about the book of Mormon. We're excited to hear about everything he finds while he reads in it. His wife wasn't as interested and thinks religion is all the same and there's nothing more to learn. We've been praying for them and see a lot of potential in them.
We had a great lesson with Nick, one of our friends. He opened up about losing a really close friend a couple years back. We explained the plan of salvation  to him and explained where his friend is. It's always a lot to take in, but I think it gave him some comfort and peace to know that his friend is ok. We've been calling him every night as well to say prayers together before he goes to bed. It has been such a fun time and it's been exciting to see him grow. His relationship with his girlfriend has also gotten better and has been asking us for a lot of dating advice haha. But he's been able to find more hope and understands that prayer is important.
Since we've had so many appointments fall through it's been a grind of finding people and contacting members. Yesterday, we went door knocking and it was an experience. It's always scary to go door knocking, but especially when the recipients are having a big party and you get hit on by someone who may have had too much to drink. We were able to talk to one man at the very end who is muslim but doesn't practice the religion at all anymore. We told him a bit about our church and what we believe. He says he's interested in seeing what other cultures believe so we're hoping that we planted a seed for him.
Other fun times:
- had to run into a store to get away from a creepy man
- did a 5 Minute plank at drat
- climbed to the top of the Dom!!
- had lots of fun with sister Werner
- got to visit my old stomping grounds in Köln
- received my plan...
It's been a hard week, but also filled with lots of good times. I know that God is in all the Details and he's with us in good weeks and Bad weeks. I'm so thankful for my relationship with Christ and all that he's taught me!! Love you all so much. Have a great week!!
Love Sister Nielsen
